Description :
A perennial herb with toothed leaves that usually alternate along the stem and yellow flowerheads composed of both disk and ray flowers. The many small heads may be crowded together in one-sidedclusters, or groups of heads may be borne on short branches to form a cluster at the top of the stem.Toxicity and contraindications are not reported.
Uses :
Widely used in Europe to treat urinary tract inflammations and to facilitate the elimination ofkidney stones. It is also useful as an aquaretic and is a good diaphoretic (sweat producer).
