Description :A tall, bushy shrub with small, leathery, and highly aromatic evergreen leaves.Limited clinical studies indicate tea tree oil's possible value as an antimicrobial agent in thetreatment of various vaginal and skin irritations. Its topical use is not generally associated with any toxicity.
Uses :The volatile oil is obtained from the leaves by steam distillation and is a very popular homeremedy in Australia for the treatment of cuts, abrasions, burns, insect bites, and athlete's foot.
