Description :Henna is a small shrub, the grayish-green leaves are elliptical andfrom 1-2 inches long. Fragrant red flowers highly prized by Egyptianladies, grow in large panicles.
Constituents :Astringent
Uses :A decoction made from the leaves is used as a gargle and, taken internallyor used externally, for skin problems. Also, sometimes it is takenas a headache remedy. Theleaves can be used internally or externally for jaundice,leprosy, and psoriasis. Thebark is used as a dye.
