Lifestyle Redesign Protocol to Ensure You're on the Right Track
Lifestyle redesign begins when you realize that you have a choice in life. You have complete control over anything you do or don't do. You are responsible for the things happening in your life, whether you initiated them or someone else did. If something isn't the way you want it to be, you can change it. If you are not where you want to be at now, you can create a plan to get there. It is you who can really make a difference in your life. When you've fully absorbed this, you start embarking on creative plans and actually have fun implementing them.
You sometimes get caught up with small and less important stuff. When this happens, you tend to neglect the things that really matter to you. This prevents you from living life happily.
What makes you happiest? Start redesigning your life with this question. Spend time to figure out what it is that you really want to do. This is crucial. You can race through your whole life and get nowhere, not knowing what really stirs your being. Live your one life right by trying the following:
1. Figure out what makes you happiest. This is your major goal. All your other goals and activities should serve as supporting vehicles for the realization of your major goal.
2. Create a master list of your action plans
List the critical milestones for goal realization. List the tasks for each milestone. Then ensure all action plans are geared toward these tasks and milestones.
3. Scan your list and assign A, B, C or D to each task. This will help you determine what to do first.
A - Urgent and Important
B - Important but Not Urgent
C - Urgent but Not Important
D - Not Important and Not Urgent
4. Breakdown your activities
Divide each task into mini tasks. Similarly, assign mini tasks from most important to least important.
5. Remember that your assigned list may change
The importance of your tasks may change as you progress along. Use your priority assignments as a guide, but accommodate change if needed. Too much rigidity sows boredom in strategic planning.
6. Maintain your focus daily
Focus on a few activities in your master list daily. Choose at least three A priorities, two B priorities and one C priority in a day. Begin working on your Ds when you have completed As, Bs, and Cs.
6. Visualize your goal
Thinking the same thought everyday programs your subconscious mind to act on it. Your thoughts and images about your goal lead to actions that will lead to fulfillment.
